我戸幹男商店は明治41年(1908年）ろくろの町山中温泉にて我戸木工所として創業しました。長い歴史を受け継いだ我戸幹男商店の木地士は、天然の素材が生み出した美しい木目を豪快にあらわに残したままひとつひとつを丁寧に挽き上げていきます。芸術の領域までに達したそのフォルムの仕上がりの美しさと実用性を兼ね備えた製品の数々は、いづれも世界にも愛される日本の代表としての風格があります。

Gato Mikio Store was established in 1908 (Meiji 41) in the town of wood lathes in Yamanka Onsen, originally as Gato Woodworks. The artisans of Gato Mikio Store, carrying on a long history, meticulously shape each piece while boldly preserving the beautiful wood grains created by natural materials. The products, which have reached an artistic level in their form and finish, combine beauty and practicality, exuding the elegance of being representative of Japan, loved by people around the world.

山中漆器のろくろ技術には４００年以上の歴史があります。他の追随を許さない技術力。究極に無駄を削ぎ落として美しく仕上げた姿が、現代のテーブルでも様々な和洋のうつわと協調します。愛らしくもかっこよくも魅せる器。軽くて手に馴染みやすいのも特徴です。
